Well positioned to capture views over the harbour inlet and maximise each west coast sunset, this project designed by Mike Goodison seeks to create connection with the surrounding landscape. The low profile building with a moody exterior colour scheme tucks effortlessly into the contour of the land and is contrasted with pops of vivid green from lush plantings introduced in the landscaping.
The clients had a strong vision for interior finishes and our team stepped up to make this a reality with an interesting mixture of concrete, gunmental grey hardware, plywood joinery and crisp white paint. Detailed hard landscaping allows full utilisation of the site with oversized in-situ concrete pavers, vegetable gardens and connecting pathways around the dwelling.
